About Nadia
I am a loving and patient teacher, who loves to see the growth happening in a student. A confident learner, can achieve so much more. I believe that a student who can read and understand, has achieved proper learning skills. They will also be more likely to do their part and enjoy it! Readers are achievers! My approach is to see where you stand and what you are capable of. Spelling is taught by a combination of sounds and phonics. As soon as that is in place, reading becomes easier and more fun. I don"t take one sound at a time, but use a few different sounds in different word combinations. Pictures or objects can be used to establish the sound/word/short sentence. I teach students from the age of 5-12, both in English as well as in Afrikaans.
