About Tatiana

Hello! I am Tatiana, 34 years old, a certified teacher who lived in Scotland for 5 years to teach French in middle and high school as a secondary language. I have six years of experience in teaching from kindergarten to secondary school, as I also have a master's degree in education in France to teach primary and kindergarten children as well as the certification of middle and high school teacher in Scotland at the University of Glasgow. So seven years ago, I decided to move to Scotland where I started as a childcare worker and then a kindergarten teacher in Edinburgh: my pleasure in teaching my mother tongue encouraged me to obtain the diploma to be able to improve my teaching practice and teach French to different levels and range of students. I love travelling with my adorable dog Alba, I recently cycled with her from France, Italy, Greece to Crete!

About the lesson

I adapt the lessons to your needs and wishes. I have an "active" and "communicative" approach, which makes you learn a language through discussions and what interests you the most such as through games, challenges, debates, recipes, studying films and books if you wish, everything is possible! First, we will have a conversation to get to know you better during a trial lesson, where I will be able to assess your level and discuss the different skills to learn a language according to your needs and goals: - Speaking: the best way to learn a language, with different topics that interest you, using videos, films, music, works of art, books, articles, etc. - Listening and Reading to work on your pronunciation and comprehension using as many supports as necessary: music, news, films, texts etc... - Writing, on topics according to your goals, to work on your grammar and vocabulary. You can choose to work on specific points with exercises or have fun with games and challenges, there are so many different ways to learn a language! With six years of experience and a qualification in France and the United Kingdom to work with children and adults at all levels, as well as to prepare for the baccalaureate or different language exams such as the DELF, DAFL, GCSE, Edexcel etc
