About Qasim
I have a lifelong passion for History and education, and I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. With over 20 years of teaching experience, a degree in History and a PGCE in History, I have taught and supported learners of all ages in schools, universities and adult education.
I currently work as an Academic Engagement Coach at the University of Roehampton, where I help students develop the academic skills, confidence and resilience needed to thrive in higher education.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, writing and researching history, and I'm currently working on my own novel. I bring enthusiasm, patience and a genuine love of learning to every lesson, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, think critically and achieve their goals.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, a History degree and a PGCE in History, I offer high-quality, personalised tuition for GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons are designed to deepen historical understanding while developing the critical thinking, analytical and essay-writing skills needed to achieve excellent results.
As an Academic Engagement Coach at a UK university, I support students in strengthening their academic skills and reaching their full potential. This experience allows me to prepare students not only for success in their exams, but also for the demands of higher education.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether they need help building confidence, improving exam technique, mastering challenging topics or aiming for the highest grades. My goal is to make History engaging, accessible and enjoyable while helping every student achieve their best.
