About George
I am a highly qualified educator with a decade of professional experience in both the EU and British education systems. My pedagogical approach is built upon a solid academic foundation: I hold a degree in History and Classics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, followed by postgraduate studies at the University of West London.
Throughout my 10-year career, I have taught Latin, Ancient Greek, Classical Civilization, and History to students across the globe. My experience spans both one-on-one private tutoring around the world and as a school teacher in the UK teaching in British schools
Currently, I serve as Head of Classics in a British school—a position I have held for the past three years. This leadership role has deepened my ability to design high-level curricula and support students in achieving their academic potential, whether they are navigating school exams or pursuing advanced university-level studies. I am passionate about making the ancient world accessible, engaging, and relevant for every student I teach.
