About Amelia
I’m Amelia, a Linguistics and French graduate who is genuinely passionate about helping learners grow in confidence with the French language. My experience as an English Language Assistant in a French primary school showed me how rewarding it is to support students of different ages and abilities. I enjoy creating a calm, encouraging space where learners feel comfortable practising and making progress, something that greatly helped me when learning the language myself. Teaching allows me to share my love of the French language and culture while helping students achieve their personal goals, whether they are beginners, school‑age learners, or adults returning to study. My approach is patient, organised, and adaptable, ensuring every student receives lessons suited to their needs.

I take a clear, structured and student‑focused approach to tutoring. I design engaging, level‑appropriate French lessons using interactive activities that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. My sessions typically (though not strictly) last 30–60 minutes and are tailored to each learner’s goals, whether they are children, teenagers, or adults. Drawing on my experience as an English Language Assistant in a French primary school and my degree in Linguistics and French, I adapt my methodology to suit different ages and abilities, creating supportive, enjoyable lessons that help students progress at their own pace.
