About Lilith
My name is Lily. I’m from London. I’m an English teacher. I live in Barcelona. I’ve been teaching for over 12 years. I consider myself a people person and I absolutely love my job.
I speak Spanish as a second language so I totally understand the difficulties of learning a second language and I feel that because of my personal experience I can really help students
I have had students from many walks of life. I have taught English to Archeologists, Doctors, Bankers, People working in restaurants and bars, Sales reps, many professions
I also work for a German record label that produces music for films. We work hand in hand with Warner Brothers. I am the description writer. I love what I do and the job complements my work as a teacher because it keeps my English level high and my vocabulary fresh.
I am also a qualified Yoga teacher and Reiki Master but I have stopped working in these professions and I reserve them for my personal practice.

I like to base my classes on conversation. Many English students have learnt a lot of grammar at school and all that English is just inside waiting to be activated.
I believe it’s very important to read. When we read correctly structured sentences over and over again our brains eventually copies those formations and we begin to naturally form sentences correctly
I encourage my students to watch films, series and videos in English every day to experience many different accents and to really live with the language in their lives.
Writing is an important active skill. Here we can take time to form the language ourselves and make mistakes. By making mistakes and correcting them we learn and improve.

I am qualified with the CELTA certificate recognised worldwide from International House (Cambridge University).
I have taught at language academies, private businesses, community centres and I currently give private classes.
I have had students of all ages and now I teach adults online
