I have worked closely with Savanna for 3 years. She is a qualified yoga teacher and Phonographix literacy therapist. Her yogic training means she understands how to affirm and encourage students, she understands discipline and practice, She appreciates the importance of teaching students so that they understand the reasoning behind the information she is teaching so that they can work out the answers for themselves. She is highly motivated to excel in the tasks she takes on. She looks for solutions. She is sensible, kind and dependable.

There is an english saying that says "The proof is in the pudding" that's how I would describe Savanna as far as her teaching expertise go. She has a passion and is dedicated to her work with positive results on those students that are currently under her tutelage.

Savanna teaches English and Maths to my brother, who is in Grade 6 and has a learning disability. Savanna is very patient with him. She takes her time to make sure that he understands the subject matter. She also revisits topics to measure retention, and redoes a topic of he does not understand. I believe it is her patience, balanced with gentle but firm coaxing, that has markedly improved his reading, writing and maths. Plus she's always on time.
