About Oliver
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years experience. I've taught in London, Dublin and now in Galway. I teach engaging lessons based on the goals and content of the New Language Curriculum.
I offer conversation classes for secondary students to help them to build their confidence, accuracy and vocabulary in the language. I can also be a homework support for the students at both levels of the schooling system.

I help children who need steady support with Irish reading and speaking. My approach is calm and structured, with clear steps that build confidence. I draw on my experience as a qualified primary teacher to guide pupils who feel unsure or stuck, especially those who benefit from patient explanation and gentle correction.
For older students, I offer focused Irish conversation sessions that strengthen fluency and ease. These lessons give teenagers a safe space to speak naturally, improve accuracy and develop a stronger feel for the language.
Each session is tailored to the learner. I adjust pace and content so the work feels achievable and the progress visible. My goal is to help pupils feel comfortable using Irish in school and at home.
