About Rhys
About Me
I’m a current KS2 primary school teacher in Barnet, passionate about helping children build confidence and reach their full potential. I have excellent relationship-building skills and pride myself on creating a positive, supportive environment where children feel comfortable, motivated and confident to learn.
I tailor my teaching to each child’s individual needs, whether they need to build confidence, close learning gaps, prepare for SATs or simply be challenged further. I also value strong relationships with parents and believe that clear communication and working together are key to helping children succeed.
I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping children discover what they’re capable of and seeing their confidence grow.

I specialise in KS1 & KS2 Maths and English, supporting children to:
• Build confidence and enjoyment in learning
• Close gaps in their knowledge
• Improve reading, writing and comprehension
• Develop their mathematical understanding
• Prepare for KS2 SATs
• Prepare for the 11+
• Transition confidently into their next year group
Lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, using a mixture of assessment, targeted teaching and engaging activities.
