About Makayla
Hello! I'm Makayla, a Teaching Council registered Primary Teacher with experience in both mainstream and Special Education settings. I am passionate about helping children build confidence, enjoy learning and achieve their full potential.
I create engaging, supportive lessons tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style. Whether your child needs extra support in English, Irish or Maths, or simply wants to build confidence, I provide patient, personalized tuition aligned with the Irish Primary Curriculum.

Every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to meet their individual needs, strengths and learning style. My aim is to build confidence while making learning enjoyable, engaging and achievable. I use a variety of hands-on activities, games, visual supports and practical strategies to help children develop a strong understanding of English, Irish and Maths. Lessons are aligned with the Irish Primary Curriculum and can reinforce classroom learning, provide additional support or challenge more able pupils.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger children if needed. I am a Teaching Council registered Primary Teacher with experience teaching across mainstream classrooms and Special Education learning environments. My lessons are suitable for primary school pupils of all class levels, whether they need help catching up, preparing for assessments or building confidence in a particular subject.
