About Harlene
Hi! I am Harlene and I am looking to tutor students who are struggling in English. I understand English can sometimes be a hard subject to get your head wrapped around but believe me, I was once in that position too. The different techniques and language and literature skill sets that I used myself has helped me get two 9's at GCSE and an A in my A-levels. These techniques have helped other students that I have helped before and ensured they have gotten the best grade of their ability! I am more than happy to help and take as long as a student needs to ensure they are happy with my tutoring and are able to work well with me as I am with them.

Typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour 30 minutes minimum so students get time to learn and ask questions that they need. Lessons will typical involve analysis of different texts that students are studying within their course alongside writing techniques to help them achieve the highest grade possible. Lessons are for both GCSE and A-level students however, any secondary school students that are struggling in English can be taught too.
