About Mugammad Ilyaas

My name is M. Ilyaas Salie, and I am a dedicated Ḥāfiẓ with a keen interest in teaching the Holy Qur’an. I completed my Ḥifẓ in 2015 at Madrasah Tul Falaah and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Islamic Studies to further my knowledge and understanding of Islam.

My interest in teaching comes from my passion for the Qur’an and my desire to share the knowledge I have gained with others. Having gone through the journey of memorising the Qur’an myself, I understand the importance of patience, dedication and consistent practice. I hope to use my experience to guide students and make their learning journey easier and more enjoyable.

I am particularly interested in helping beginners build a strong foundation in Qur’an recitation, assisting students with Tajwīd and supporting those who wish to memorise the Qur’an.

I believe every student learns at their own pace, and I aim to create a friendly, patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their skills.

My motivation for teaching is to share the beauty of the Qur’an, inspire others to develop a love for it and contribute positively to their Islamic education.

About the lesson

My Qur’an lessons are designed to suit students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to those wishing to improve their recitation, Tajwīd and memorisation (Ḥifẓ). Each lesson is one hour long and tailored to the individual student's learning needs and pace.

Lessons are available online or in person, with flexible scheduling seven days a week, making it easy for students to learn at a time that suits them.

My aim is to create a supportive, patient and engaging learning environment where students can develop confidence in reading and reciting the Noble Qur’an correctly.

I can honestly say that you won’t regret being tutored by Hafith Ilyaas.
