About Don
Hello there! I am Don Sydney Jayakody and I am a Qualified SAJCC and SA Winter Games Chess Player. I've been playing Chess since grade 4, and when I made it into Highschool I qualified for both the 2017 SA Winter Games, as well as the SAJCC(South African Junior Chess Championships). I am here to help coach anyone in need of Chess lessons from those only wanting to learn chess to those who want to become champions!!

I as a mentor want to see people grow in the art of Chess. It may not be a form of physical sport, but a mental sport for the mind. And I aim to see YOU, become an accomplished champion with my coaching lessons!!
I teach in English only.
I offer lessons from Beginners to Advanced. From learning the board and its pieces, to playing your middle game strategically.
I also offer Chess Exercises to better your thinking game.
Whether you're a student or adult, I'm here to help!!
