About Monica

I have taught Spanish in a primary school in the United States and at University College Dublin (UCD), where I worked with students from beginner to C1 level. I absolutely love working with children, but through my university teaching experience, I also discovered how much I enjoy teaching adults. I always adapt my lessons to your age, goals, and interests, and I aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
Outside the classroom, you will usually find me running, trying new restaurants, or enjoying a good coffee and great conversation. I believe that these everyday interests can also become part of our Spanish lessons, making them more engaging and relevant to you.

About the lesson

Learning Spanish can be easy and motivating with the right approach. Thanks to my background in Childhood Education and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, I adapt each online lesson to your level, goals, and learning style.
My lessons are dynamic, practical, and personalised, with a focus on real communication and building your confidence. Through engaging online activities and materials, I help you make real progress from the very first lesson, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner.

Monica is a great colleague of mine. I really enjoy talking about education with her because she always has great ideas and passion for making Spanish fun. As a teacher of Spanish, I can recognize when someone really knows about grammar and pedagogy, and that's Monica's case.
