About Giorgio
Salvete omnes!
My name is Giorgio, my qualifications include a classical high school diploma, a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Classics (both achieved with honours) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education achieved at the University of Cambridge. In addition to offering private lessons in Latin, Greek and English, I am also available for general support in humanities (Italian, history and geography) aimed at students of lower and upper secondary schools. I have been working in the field of private lessons for about a decade and it was thanks to the work done with my students that I developed the purpose of becoming a full-fledged teacher.

I consider private lessons as lessons in all respects and therefore I believe it is vital to be well informed in advance on the needs, objectives and topics that I will discuss with the student, in order to structure the time available to us in the most effective way possible . The advantage of lessons to individuals or in small groups is that the teacher has the opportunity to understand more deeply the specific needs of all students and to plan strategies that best suit the cognitive styles of the individual pupil. However, the commitment of the teacher must of course correspond to the will and constancy of the student themselves, so that the work done together may produce positive and lasting effects.
