I studied English literature at A Level and at university, and I love English! I trained and taught at a school in Birmingham and am now a youth worker, but am still very passionate about teaching English and encouraging confidence in students! I am very happy to mark practice papers at no extra cost and mark in depth to build confidence and strive for excellence

I am a qualified and experienced English teacher with three years’ experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students. I have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and am confident supporting students with GCSE preparation, reading, writing, literature, language, and exam skills.
I specialise in adaptive teaching and have excellent experience supporting students with SEND, adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs. I am patient, approachable and encouraging, with a focus on building students’ confidence as well as developing their academic ability.
