About Lisa
I have a degree in psychology with a post graduate in education. I have completed my TESOL certificate with merit. I have taught grade 2 and 3 for the last 3 years, in class. The class sizes varied from 20 to 32 children. The children I have taught are Xhosa speaking and English is the second, if not third, language.

I am a qualified teacher and teach grade 2 children. The subjects I currently teach are English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Life Skills. I have a TESOL certificate obtained through Better You Training School. The children I teach are between 7 years and 9 years old. We do a lot of oral work, open ended questions, we have group discussions and I allow a lot of group work so that I can walk around and hear the use of language.
