About Ophelia
I have a BA in Acting, an MA in Behaviour Management and a PGCE in secondary physical education. I have taught KS3 english and maths, pre pandemic and I have also delivered private tutoring sessions. Students I have taught in both Physical Education and Drama have received As and A*s in their GCSEs. I have worked in a variety of schools including Private, Grammar, State Comprehensive and non-mainstream.

One of my teaching methods is behaviour specific praise. I make specific note to the student about what they are doing correctly. I am a positive reinforcement teacher. I do not shout at or berate my students as I do not feel like that is a healthy way of teaching. I am passionate about ensuring every student in my care achieves their full potential. No one gets left behind. In addition I am able to differentiate my teaching in order to make sure my lessons reach every student.
