About Lacey
I am a fully qualified Psychology teacher with a PGCE and over 10 years of experience teaching A Level and BTEC Psychology. I have a strong track record of supporting students to achieve and exceed their target grades, including helping many progress to top universities.
My approach is professional, reliable, and results-driven. I plan every session carefully, ensuring lessons are structured, purposeful, and tailored to each student’s needs. I am highly familiar with exam board requirements and current specifications, allowing me to provide focused guidance on exactly what students need to succeed.
Students and parents value my calm, supportive teaching style, as well as my clear communication and consistent feedback. I aim to build confidence as well as academic ability, helping students feel fully prepared for their exams.

My tutoring sessions are structured, supportive, and focused on helping students feel confident and in control of their learning. I break down complex psychological theories into clear, manageable ideas, using real-life examples to make content easier to understand and remember.
I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, as this is often the key to improving grades. Students will practise exam-style questions regularly, with detailed feedback to help them understand exactly how to gain marks and avoid common mistakes.
