I am currently working with prospective 11+ students, and successfully providing them with the support and resources to pass their entrance exams and get into the school of their choice.
I have 7 years experience as a qualified teacher, I worked for 5 years in an inner city sixth form college teaching Health and Social Care at BTEC and A Level.
I have taught and tutored for all the major exam boards and undertaken work as a sampler for Edexcel (Pearson) at Level 2 - GCSE and BTEC and Level 3 BTEC.
I also have experience in tutoring English and History at GCSE and A Level. I have a BA in Criminology and can support A-Level students with WJEC Criminology.
I have experience in assisting students with UCAS application forms and advice on personal statements/CVs. I am also an experienced proof-reader/editor who can proofread your essays, etc. Please contact with further information on this.
The style of my tutoring lessons will be one to one session’s and will be tailored to each student’s specific needs. I will make the best use of the available teaching technologies to maximise the benefit to my students and help them achieve their goals. My teaching sessions are interactive, engaging, and enjoyable with the possibility to ask questions and feel comfortable with the support they are receiving.
