About Sidus

With over 22 years of wrestling experience, I am proud to represent the third generation of Olympic wrestlers in my family. My grandfather, an Olympic champion and former Team GB fitness coach, and my father, a world schoolboy champion, laid the foundation for my journey in this demanding and rewarding sport.

Throughout my career, I have become a multiple national champion across several weight classes in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. My dedication and hard work have led me to represent Great Britain on the international stage, where I have secured numerous victories in prestigious tournaments.

A milestone in my career was becoming the first wrestler in England's history to win a medal at the 86kg weight class at the Commonwealth Games. This achievement is a testament to my commitment to excellence and my drive to break new ground for British wrestling.

My training has taken me around the globe, allowing me to refine my skills in some of the world's most renowned wrestling nations, including Cuba, the United States, Japan, and Kyrgyzstan. Under the guidance of my original coach, a multiple European Championship medalist and former Olympian from Hungary, I have developed a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of the sport.

As a coach, I am passionate about passing on the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years to the next generation of wrestlers. My goal is to inspire and train athletes to reach their full potential, whether they are aiming for national titles or international acclaim.

• Learn the basics of both Greco-Roman and freestyle takedowns, including single and double-leg takedowns, as well as upper body throws. The emphasis will be on techniques that seamlessly integrate into MMA and Jiu-Jitsu.

3. Clinch Work and Pummeling:
