About Kirsten
As an experienced literacy teacher and school founder, I specialize in reading, spelling, and comprehension support for elementary-aged students. I believe every child learns best when instruction is tailored to their unique needs, whether in one-to-one lessons or small group sessions. My goal is to help students not only strengthen skills, but also build a love for reading.

As a teacher with years of experience in literacy instruction, I help students build strong foundations in reading, spelling, and comprehension. I design engaging lessons that balance phonics, word play, and real reading practice to boost skills and confidence. Families may choose one-to-one lessons for individualized attention or small group lessons (2–4 students) for a collaborative, affordable option. My goal is to make reading fun, meaningful, and accessible to every child. I also provide progress updates so parents can celebrate each step of growth.
