About Kevin
I genuinely LOVE helping people in general, but the youth especially. I feel it is a major accomplishment helping the youth grow into strong, confident and independent individuals. Being able to read, write and comprehend are key components to that goal. I have tons of former students that have remained in touch even as adults with their own families because of the impact I have had on them and look forward to positively impacting more lives through education.

I enjoy making learning fun and as simple as possible! I always follow an I, we, you method. In other words, first I model the skill/strategy, then we collaborate together, then the student gives their attempt at the skill/strategy. My students enjoy the fact that I use games and anime as references in our lessons. I tend to tailor my lessons based on the students interests and grade levels. I have experience teaching grades 3-8.
