About Yaroslav
I'm a Senior Full-Stack Developer working at Podscribe, a US-based AdTech company, where I build and maintain production systems used by brands like Toyota and Wells Fargo. Before that, I taught programming at three major bootcamps — Yandex.Practicum, TripleTen, and ITCareerHub.de — helping hundreds of career changers become professional developers. I contribute to open-source projects including Biome, a popular Rust-based code toolchain with 24,000+ stars on GitHub. I've been writing code professionally for over 6 years across the full stack: from React and TypeScript on the frontend to Node.js, Python, and Rust on the backend. I combine daily industry experience with a genuine passion for teaching — and I believe the best lessons come from someone who still solves real problems every day.

Every lesson starts with your goal — not my agenda. We figure out what you're trying to build, learn, or prepare for, and work backwards from there.
I teach by doing. We open a code editor, share screens, and solve problems together. I draw a lot — diagrams, data flows, architecture sketches — because seeing how things connect makes them stick. No PowerPoints, no pre-recorded videos, just live coding and honest feedback.
A typical session might look like: we review your code or a concept you're struggling with, I explain the "why" behind it (not just the "how"), we refactor or build something together, and you leave with a clear next step to practice on your own.
My lessons are for complete beginners learning their first language, bootcamp students who need extra support, self-taught developers preparing for tech interviews, and working developers looking to go from mid-level to senior. I'm comfortable teaching JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and Rust at any level.
