About Qahir
I’m a History and International Relations graduate from the London School of Economics, with a genuine love for history and helping students feel confident engaging with it. Since graduating I have spent over 6 years working in professional industries where I utilise my written and spoken communication skills on a daily basis.
I believe history is at its best when students are curious, asking questions and understanding the bigger picture rather than just memorising dates and facts.
I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable thinking out loud and developing their own ideas.

My lessons are designed to help students enjoy history and become genuinely curious about the past, not just memorise facts for an exam. I focus on developing clear thinking, strong arguments and confident essay writing, helping students understand why events happened and how to explain them effectively. With a background in History and International Relations from LSE, I encourage students to ask questions, think critically and connect ideas. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is improving GCSE or A level grades or simply gaining confidence in history.
