About Makenna
I am a recent Whitworth University graduate. I was heavily involved in the university's jazz 1 and wind symphony while studying elementary education and minoring in music.
My love for teaching continues to fly high the more I am able to connect with kids. Every student I have is a person first and a student second. I am so excited to help you grow as a person and student if you choose me as your tutor!

I believe every student should start with the very basics. Having the basics concrete can help us make sense of more complicated concepts. I look at tutoring from the students perspective on how they grasp content as a whole and scaffolding the material from there.
