About Aleksandra
I currently work as an engagement journalist at The Times and freelance for the Times Literary Supplement so I am experienced in non-fiction and journalistic writing, as well as reviewing and sub-editing. This requires attention to detail, so as I tutor I would be scrupulously challenging arguments and helping students to expand their minds in preparation for exams or university.

I like to use the historical (rather than genre) approach to teaching literature. I believe it is easier to teach chronologically while also taking in a wider pool of knowledge and expanding one's creative and analytical thinking. However I also employ practical criticism and philosophical theory.
