About Sterling
I have studied Spanish for 7 years as part of my bachelor's degree where I reached B2.1/2 level, in addition to receiving an A-level and a A* at IGCSE level. I have undertook language and cultural enrichment courses, most recently in 2019 where I spent 2 weeks in Pamplona studying at la Universidad de Navarra.
I have used written Spanish in order to communicate to both international organisations, universities as well as simply keeping in contact with native Spanish speakers.

Teaching method will begin with an initial assessment of the student's ability to write according to the level they should be working at (Beginner, intermediate, advanced; or according to the level of examination wanted to be undertaken). From this stage, various points of improvement will be established and built upon, with assessment each week to understand whether these areas have been improved upon.
Lesson structure will vary each week according to practical development, cultural understanding and general language development (e.g. one week working on vocabulary through reading comprehension of texts, next week how writing can change due to the subject matter that is being written about, understanding how a student is developing in general and finally actual writing ability via set written tasks).
Lessons are primarily targeted at beginner learners but due to my experience of writing according to various marking schemes, I am ready to offer assistance in these areas too.
