About Georgia
Hi there! I'm Georgia, a recent Modern Languages graduate. I speak French, Spanish and Catalan, and have 6 years tutoring experience. In my spare time I like to read science fiction and spend time in nature :)
I love teaching French and Spanish because its a subject area where many students lack confidence, or think there's a 'language gene', and I think it's really important to create an environment tailored to each student so they can improve their confidence and discover that anyone can learn a language.

I create a comfortable and encouraging classroom environment to increase students' confidence and academic success. I can adjust teaching methodologies and materials to suit the student, using multimedia materials to gain a balance between exam preparation and learning to enjoy languages.
I have experience teaching lower and higher level students, including those with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. My students make excellent progress and go on to achieve good grades in exams.
Lessons are generally 30 minutes or 1 hour, for secondary school and sixth form students. I can also work with adult students at levels A0-B1. Lessons can be virtual or in-person.
