I have always learned better through teaching and love the conversations and debates that spark in academic settings. I am flexible with teaching styles and like to work either each individual student with what works best for them.
Our sessions will start with identifying your strengths, weaknesses and make some goals of working together. Once we are both on the same page for how our sessions will go, we will jump right in!!
I have been a peer tutor for the past 5 years both within university services and through freelance. My neuroscience degree focused on different learning abilities which has helped me develop study tools for students with all needs. I have extra experience with dyslexic students!
My tutoring sessions are typically 1 hour long sessions at a time, with a frequency desired by the student.
My goal is to make sure students feel the most confident tackling their school work!
