About James
I graduated from Oxford a few years ago, and since then have trained as an actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama. I have tutored kids from 6 years old to GCSE level in both Paris and in London, and also led theatre workshops and given free beginners guitar tuition. I'm passionate about teaching, and I always learn something new from my students!

My lessons are always tailored to fit the student. My experience has taught me that everyone learns differently - some people are visual learners, and others need to write things out to grasp a topic. Some even need to choreograph a dance routine! So it's my job to make sure I'm teaching in a way that inspires each student with confidence and curiosity. This involves a dedicated plan for every class - something I will always guarantee. There are so many ways to fall in love with a language. I for one am fascinated by the culture and history of France and Russia - but I'm also a huge nerd when it comes to grammar. I'll give you your very own tools that will help you fall in love with the subject you're studying - and the rest will come naturally. Patience and communication are so important. The best results always come when the student feels relaxed and not afraid to ask for help. I take the time to create a welcoming environment where every student can express themselves.
