About Melissa
My name is Ms. Melissa and I am so excited to be your tutor! I live in the Cayman Islands with my husband and puppy, and we have a baby on the way! I have been an educator for almost 10 years and have worked with students of all ages and abilities. I have a bachelor's degree in special education and absolutely love to teach all ages of students with disabilities.

I believe in teaching students the way they learn best. My lessons follow an "I do, we do, you do" approach where each student will have an opportunity to receive direct and explicit instruction, have opportunities for practice, and then opportunities to complete activities independently. I ensure that all students receive as much instruction as they need to master the content of the lesson. My lessons are for elementary-aged students with and without special education needs.
