About Keir

I am a dedicated guitar tutor with a bachelor’s degree in music and 5 years of teaching experience. My passion for the guitar began early in life and has grown into a lifelong commitment to both playing and teaching. I find great joy in helping students unlock their potential and develop their own musical voices. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of varying ages and skill levels, from beginners learning their first chords to advanced players mastering improvisation and complex techniques. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning style. I emphasize a strong foundation in technique combined with music theory to give students a well-rounded understanding of the instrument. This balance helps students gain confidence in both performance and creativity, allowing them to explore a variety of musical genres. Continuing to perform and learn myself, I bring fresh insights and real-world experience into each lesson. My aim is to create a positive and inspiring environment where students feel motivated to grow and enjoy their musical journey.
