About Fairy
Teaching flute has been my passion for the past 15 years. I have taught High School, College, and adult students, totalling 150-200 learners. I believe music is about expression, creativity, and building confidence, not just technical mastery.
A memorable milestone was guiding a shy student to perform confidently at their first recital. Through structured practice, patience, and encouragement, they gained both skill and self-assurance.
I design lessons to be interactive, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals, helping them grow musically while cultivating a lifelong love for the flute.

I follow a student-centred approach to teaching flute that blends practical skills, creativity, and understanding. Using real-life examples and case studies, I make musical concepts easy to understand and apply. I emphasise motivation, inspiring students to stay curious, confident, and enthusiastic about learning music.
Problem-solving is a key part of my methodology. I guide students through challenges in technique, rhythm, and expression, helping them develop independence and skill. Integrity is central to my teaching, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect. My lessons are flexible, customised to each student’s abilities, pace, and goals.
In addition to flute, I teach related subjects like music theory and fundamentals to provide a well-rounded learning experience. This methodology ensures lessons are engaging, effective, and meaningful.
