About Megan
I'm a recent graduate and I know how difficult these topics and concepts can be. I want to be able to make this complicated information accessible. When it becomes a conversation rather than words on a screen, it is much easier to visualize and conceptualize. For younger students, I can simplify the information, while for more advanced students, I can take the complicated topics and tackle them with students. I am very easy to talk to and have been told that I make things more understandable and accessible. I love learning as well and want to help make this topic more fun and less intimidating.

Lesson content will be based on individual needs. Lessons are 30 minutes long and are focused on needs and level of student. I am personable and use personal examples and visual tactics to understand various topics. It will be a mix of conversation, examples, questions, and giving students an opportunity to remember and recall information so that they can assess their increased knowledge in a particular area. I believe that students all learn in different ways so lesson structure may vary but keeping it informal and using visual examples may help to allow the student to relax and remember information better. My lessons can be focused for younger children but can also be more in depth for those in university studying nutrition and dietetics requiring in depth knowledge of pathophysiology and medical nutrition therapy. I have presented nutrition information to groups of varying levels. I am a qualified dietician in the United States having completed a bachelor's degree, an internship in a hospital as a clinical dietician, and an exam.
