About Ula

My name is Ula, I qualified as a nurse in the summer of 2020.

I know how tough a nursing degree can be, which is why I would like to help student nurses boost their confidence and, to succeed in their course.

My background is in perioperative care and I recently started working as a remote monitoring nurse for a new virtual ward initiative.

About the lesson

I CURRENTLY ONLY HAVE AVAILABILITY FOR ESSAY PROOF READING AND FEEDBACK

I can help with the following:
1) Essay planning: I will go through the essay brief and assessment guidelines with you, helping you to formulate a structured plan.

2) For an already finished piece of work or one which is in progress for which you would like feedback, I charge 1 hour of my time (£30) for every 1000 words. It takes time to understand the assessment brief, read the essay, and provide feedback. This cannot be done through a single one-hour webcam session. Occasionally, if the essay has completely missed the assignment brief, is very poorly structured, or needs to be completely rewritten, I suggest we have a zoom call instead, where I advise you on necessary changes. If you would like me to go other the improved draft, I charge £20/1000 words for revisions.

3) Drug Calculation: I can go through worked examples with you to help prepare you for a drug calculation exam.

Please note I do not complete essays or exams on behalf of students. It is unethical and will not help you learn to become an effective practitioner. I give you the advice and tools to give you the best chance at success, but you must put in the work yourself! Hiring a tutor does not automatically guarantee high grades.
I only provide feedback on essays and may make minor edits or provide examples of how the sentence/paragraph should be written.
Please do not contact me asking for me to complete the work on your behalf as I will decline.

I have no formal tutoring qualifications, however, I achieved a First in my nursing degree at King's College London (2020) and have been working as a registered nurse since November 2020. I achieved an A/A* in maths and English at the GCSE level and, an A in A-Level biology. I achieved >90% at university in all my anatomy and physiology exams. I am confident with drug calculation and can help students or qualified nurses struggling
