About Rudolf

I am a registered professional Architect, having completed my MArch(Prof) in 2017 at Tuks. I have been working on ArchiCAD for the last three years, but I also have previous knowledge of Revit and have completed both an advanced and basic course in how to use the software, but this is a little rusty and I would not trust to be up to date on the current versions. I will comment that ArchiCAD is better, because it focuses on making good architecture instead of trying to appeal to all the engineers as Revit does. I've learned SketchUp through trial and error, and have considered it my go-to first draft tool whenever there is a massing problem to be solved.

About the lesson

Bring the problem, and I'll help you solve it. Even if it is only theoretical, we will discuss how to solve it on the software, as well as how to use best practice for ArchiCAD BIM management and modelling.

The lessons will not be structured, and will focus on learning by doing. Whatever you want to solve in a BIM project is what we will focus on for a lesson.

As BIM is primarily available in English, these lessons will only be offered in English, but Afrikaans communication is available.

These lessons are aimed at absolute beginners starting out, and will help them gain proficiency faster than trying to watch long and dreary YouTube tutorials that may or may not help. Instead, we focus our attention on the specific problems and then go from there.
