About Mikayla
I'm Mikayla! I'm a current Theatre Education major at Columbus State University with a 3.9 GPA.
As a straight-A student in all of my English class in both high school and college, I have extensive knowledge in these subject areas. I'm able to help with any time of papers, discussion questions, or even test prep!
I have over 15 years of experience working all types of roles in the theater industry (actor, stage manager, director, writer, etc.). I've accumulated several awards for my work as well. As someone with a ton of knowledge when it comes to the arts, I have a desire to share it and to see students excel.

As a student myself, it is important to me to create the best tutoring experience for those that I work with. I try to be as engaging and flexible as possible (going the extra mile!) when it comes to my teaching. My method is to usually dive right into the material they need help with, working to help the student understand the topic through an engaging lesson and practice. However, my methods can be adjusted based on the subject and the needs of the individual student. My desire is to benefit every student in their education; therefore, I welcome any resources and additional information that students and parents may want to provide.
