About Mela

With 11 years of experience teaching French to high school and college students, I have guided over 150 learners towards fluency and academic success. My teaching approach emphasises personalised learning, ensuring each lesson is adapted to the student’s abilities, interests, and learning style.

I combine interactive exercises, real-life conversation practice, multimedia resources, and cultural insights to make lessons meaningful, enjoyable, and practical. My unique skill is transforming complex grammar and vocabulary into approachable, memorable steps that students can immediately apply.

I prioritise confidence-building, motivation, and consistent progress, creating an environment where students feel inspired to participate, take risks, and enjoy learning. Lessons are designed to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering curiosity and cultural awareness.

Teaching French is more than a career for me—it is my passion. I aim to create a learning experience that is tailored, interactive, and empowering, helping students gain fluency, confidence, and a lifelong love for the language.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for French is centred on application, motivation, and adaptability. I believe students should learn French in a way that prepares them for academic, professional, and personal situations.

I use real-life examples and case studies such as giving presentations, writing formal letters, attending meetings, and participating in group discussions.

These activities help students practise natural communication. Grammar is taught clearly and reinforced through regular speaking and writing tasks. Problem-solving exercises encourage students to think directly in French and improve fluency.

Motivation is very important in my classroom. I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel confident to speak and grow. Integrity guides my teaching style, and I always provide honest feedback and professional support.

I customise lessons based on individual goals and learning pace. Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as grammar strengthening, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation training, and exam preparation. My mission is to help students achieve fluency and confidence in French.
