About Blake
I am a dedicated piano tutor with more than 6 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I enjoy helping students learn music in a simple and structured way. My teaching method focuses on communication, flexibility, and step-by-step learning. I customise my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace, ensuring steady progress.
I focus on building strong basics like rhythm, note reading, and finger control before moving to advanced topics. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice, which help students gain a deeper understanding of music. My strength is simplifying complex topics into easy steps.
I help students improve their confidence, technique, and consistency, and guide them in developing effective practice routines. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable and meaningful.

My teaching methodology emphasises holistic, engaging, and expressive lessons. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning preferences, which allows me to create lessons that are personalised, motivating, and effective.
I encourage creativity in every lesson. Students explore improvisation, compose original pieces, and experiment with different musical styles, helping them develop artistic confidence and a unique musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, making learning productive and enjoyable.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic approach develops technical proficiency, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My aim is to inspire students to become confident, skilled, and lifelong musicians.
