About Ellie
Hello! I'm a passionate and dedicated teacher currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities. I offer engaging and personalised lessons in Religious Education, PSHE, Humanities, and History for students of all levels – from primary school through to GCSE and A-Level. I currently work as a teacher in a specialist SEN school and have extensive experience supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH. With over three years of private tutoring experience and an enhanced DBS check, I’m confident in creating a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment for every student. My online lessons are 45 minutes long and delivered via Zoom, making learning flexible and accessible. Whether you're preparing for exams or need extra guidance, I’m here to help you grow in confidence and reach your full potential.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and adaptable to each learner's needs. I create a calm, structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and growing in confidence. I use a range of techniques including discussion-based learning, visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and is delivered via Zoom. I tailor every session to suit the student's learning style and academic goals, whether that's building foundational knowledge, preparing for exams, or exploring topics in more depth. I am currently studying for my BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities, and I hold Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Music Performance. I also have over three years of experience tutoring students aged 5–16 and beyond. I’ve taught a wide range of abilities and learning needs, including SEN and SEMH students, and I hold an enhanced DBS check. My lessons are ideal for students at Key Stages 2–5, including those working towards GCSE and A-Level in Religious Education, PSHE, Humanities, and History.
