  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?

Imagine my 14-year-old self, fueled by the dream of becoming a rockstar when I first picked up a guitar. The journey since then has been a whirlwind of musical exploration, each note and chord a lesson, and my favorite instrument, the laptop, an unexpected ally. It may not be traditional, but understanding its software opens doors to transforming creative visions into musical reality.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

In the realm of perfecting mixes and sounds, my current sonic obsession is the producer Salute. His beats and rhythms have become the soundtrack to my creative process, earning him the coveted title of my most streamed artist of the previous year, according to Spotify's year-end results.
  • 3) Explain the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

Becoming a Ableton Certified Tutor @ Sub bass academy London was quite tough but undertaking a course on Ableton's Max MSP plug-in creation stands out as a deep dive into technical and academic intricacies that underpin music production.
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

The laptop, in my opinion, is the most intricate instrument to master because it houses the software, the heart of endless possibilities. As a music producer, it becomes the central hub where creativity and innovation flourish. Yet, even traditional instruments, with their timeless elegance, harbor complexities that continually challenge musicians to explore new horizons.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

Perseverance through challenges, unyielding belief in my craft, the thought of my family, and an unbridled embrace of creativity form the key to my journey in the world of music.
  • 6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favorite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

Envision a late-night encounter in a favorite bar with electronic maestros Hudson Mohawke, Gesaffelstein, and Evian Christ. Beyond their individual brilliance, it's their collaborative efforts on Kanye West's Yeezus album that draws me. The amalgamation of their creative energies resulted in a masterpiece, showcasing the epitome of bold production.
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

Step into the realm of valuable anecdotes from my music-filled days. The lesson learned: only forge partnerships with those you envision standing alongside a decade from now. It's a philosophy rooted in commitment, where extreme dedication paves the way for extraordinary results.
  • 8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

As a Superprof, my commitment extends beyond the ordinary. It's about meticulous attention to detail, going the extra mile to ensure students grasp the intricacies of music. My journey as a DJ, spanning across Europe, the Caribbean, and the US, isn't just a resume point - it's a testament to real-world experience. Witnessing my students flourish, from playing at iconic venues like Ministry of Sound to achieving millions of streams and fulfilling their label dreams, underscores the success I strive to cultivate in each aspiring musician. And amid all this, I continue to create, ensuring I stay immersed in the ever-evolving landscape of the music industry.
