About Charles
Prior to becoming a teacher of Design, I previously worked in Hospitality for over eighteen years. My background ranges from Five Star Luxury Hotels, Michelin Starred Restaurants in UK and France and corporate hospitality. I adopted a range of transferable skills which I have used in my teaching which has helped my past students achieve their fullest potential.
Outside of teaching, I train in and coach Krav Maga where I achieve great satisfaction in helping others build confidence and discipline in themselves. I also volunteer at a heritage railway on the engineering and operations side. I have acquired an abundance of knowledge and skills which I am able to incorporate into my teaching.

Reputable teacher of Product Design and Food and Nutrition with proven track record of positive progress. I have taught in the secondary school setting for over six years in Ofsted "Good" rated schools, I have worked as a private tutor for over a year and I have also coached in a range of other disciplines as well. My past A Level student designations have included:

- University of the Arts (London)
My qualifications and accreditation as follows:
MA Food and Business Management
PGCE (Secondary) in Design and Technology
NPQ-LT with emphasis on Curriculum Design.
I am available for online tuition where I can tailor one hour sessions to the learner's needs. My services cover exam preparation, coursework assistance and out of hours study tuition.
I am competent in the following exam boards:
GCSE Product Design (AQA and OCR)
GCSE Food and Nutrition (AQA)
A Level Product Design (AQA)
