About TJ
I am a 23-year-old Pretoria born DJ and producer. I am an open format DJ with techno and hip-hop being my favorite genres to produce and perform lie. I currently hold residencies at 2 of Hatfield's hottest night clubs; The Jolly Roger and Altum. I continually strive to improve the quality of my productions and expand my DJ techniques by incorporating elements of different genres into one clean sound. I have a passion for music and am self-taught. My goal here is to spread knowledge of this art form and build upon my own.

I offer in-house visits or live video chats. We will begin with the basics of using a USB powered controller to grasp the foundations of beat matching, song selection, EQing and transitions. Once you have the basics on a controller we move onto club-standard equipment the comes with a brief of crowd reading and effects to spice up your mixing or transitions. I have certificates in music production and advanced DJ'ing both obtained at the same time. My lessons are for people of all ages and backgrounds who are keen to either learn how to DJ or simply sharpen their skills.
