Hello and welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
I spent my entire professional career working as a surgical technician, trained through hands-on, on-the-job experience during a time when clinical skill, calm judgment, and teamwork in the operating room were everything. Over the years, I worked closely with surgeons, nurses, and fellow techs, and I always found the greatest satisfaction in teaching and mentoring others.
I especially enjoy helping surgical technology students who want:
• A clearer understanding of procedures and instruments
• Guidance with OR etiquette, flow, and teamwork
• Real-world explanations that go beyond textbooks
• Increased confidence before or during clinicals
• Honest answers to questions you may feel hesitant to ask in class
My approach is supportive, patient, and practical. I don’t believe learning should feel rushed or intimidating. I’m here to help you connect the dots, understand the “why” behind what you’re learning, and feel more confident stepping into the OR.
Sessions will be informal — we can review procedures, talk through scenarios, or focus on whatever you need most in the moment. Whether you’re just starting out or feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
