About Louise
I have been teaching elementary school for 30 years and am now retired. I have tutored privately and was Director of a Britannica Learning Center for 4 years. I have a BA in education, minored in English, and an MBA. I own my own business and miss interacting with students.

I love working with students in elementary through Jr. High Age. My approach is to find out first what the student needs and what his/her goals are for the tutoring session. My job as a tutor is to enhance what the teacher has taught, not to replace it. If the student is struggling he/she may need the work explained in a different manner.
