About Cara
I am a recently qualified RNLD (Learning Disabilities Nurse) currently working in neuropsychiatry. I love supporting students in their journey toward becoming a nurse and recognise that while nursing is a privilege it is also incredibly hard work with plenty of bumps in the road.
Prior to training as a nurse I worked as a tutor, mainly teaching neurodivergent and SEN children focussing on study skills. Despite the challenges, my own diagnosis of dyspraxia posed during my training I achieved a first-class degree. Since qualifying I have very much wanted to return to tutoring and am excited to use my knowledge and skills to help the next generation of nurses smash their degree!

I qualified in 2022 with a first-class degree so have recent experience completing an academic nursing program.
I take a relaxed and student-focused approach to teaching. Being a student nurse is hard - the mix of arts and sciences, theory and practical means that everyone struggles with one element of their program at some time. I hope to provide that little boost to students and support the next generation of nurses. I myself have a diagnosis of dyspraxia so I am very keen to support students with additional needs.
The services I am offering are:
- Assignment support & proofreading service
- Anatomy and physiology lessons and exam support
-Drug calculation/ nursing maths lessons and exam support
- Specific topics taught on request providing they are within my scope of practice.
- Advice and coaching for clinical placements in areas such as time management and well being
I can be flexible around lesson times and durations to account for shift work.
