About Ashley
I originally went to school to become a nurse, however I was not happy in the course work and fell in love with the idea of teaching while working at a daycare. I changed my major and changed my life! I love being a teacher, everyday is a new day with my students and every year is a different year! I enjoy helping anyone reach their full potential in their reading and writing skills, because it is such a crucial skill. I love bonding with my students and using their likes and interests to get them excited about learning.

I approach my students with kindness to encourage them to grow a love for learning. A typical lesson plan starts by assessing my students level of readiness and meeting my student at their starting point. I like to keep things fun, engaging, and not boring! I can teach any one from Kindergarten to twelfth grade in literacy studies. I will help you strengthen your reading and writing skills!
