About Elizabeth
"Slow progress is often the fastest route towards true mastery of the fretboard. I prioritise small adjustments to your technique over rushing through difficult songs. Since I hold an MMus Vocal Studies degree, I bring a deep understanding of melody and phrasing to every guitar session.
We practise reading sheet music and building your dexterity with complex chord shapes. Teens and adults often find that my perspective on musicality helps them connect better with their instruments.
I integrate grade exam prep for those who need a structured path towards certification. We spend time on blues progressions to ensure your rhythm remains rock solid. I provide steady feedback to help you refine your improvisation and soloing skills.
You will find that my experience as a performer shapes how I teach stage presence even while seated with an instrument. It is just about the music."

"Music occupies every quiet moment of my day. I have spent 13 years refining my craft and sharing that knowledge with 320 students ranging from absolute beginners to teens and adults. My training at the Royal Academy of Music provides the foundation for how I teach rhythm and music theory. I focus on blues progressions and improvisation while helping you master barre chords and power chords.
I have performed across the UK for 11 years as a vocalist which gives me a unique perspective on timing and phrasing. Many students find that reading sheet music becomes a natural extension of their playing once we break down the notation.
I enjoy watching my students discover new strumming patterns and soloing styles. My approach is playful yet rooted in the discipline required for excellence. I just keep playing."
