About Felix

Hi I'm Felix! I had received a commission from the world renowned Royal Academy of Arts before I even finished art school. I was studying an 'Experimental Communication' MA at the top rated art school in the world - the RCA. I currently work as a freelancer across the art, fashion, film, music and design industries. Each of these offers a unique kind of employment & my creative sensibility is expressed differently through each.

Sometimes I'm commissioned as an artist to make an artwork, or booked as a musician to perform at festivals. Other times I'm hired as a designer to create a book or website for a client. Or maybe I'm hired as a director to shoot a music video. I'm able to work flexibly like this because I developed a multidisciplinary creative intuition which can speak the language of many different artistic mediums - I can help you do the same.

About the lesson

I was commissioned by the Royal Academy of Arts before even graduating, this is because I specialise in interdisciplinary art practice - creative making across a wide range of outcomes. Whatever the medium, as your personal tutor I can develop your existing creative practice - or even help you unlock a new outlet for your creativity, one you would never have imagined being able to take on before.

A typical session lasts an hour and will revolve around discussing what you've made together. I'll break down your work with you - teaching you to begin analysing it yourself from a range of different standpoints.

My MA thesis was selected to be archived in RCA Library's permanent special collection. I can de-jargon academic and art language to help you get inspired by the theoretical side of a creative practice, or just help with an essay your working on. I'll provide references for other creative practitioners which can help you frame your own work within the existing ideas, debates and themes of arts and design throughout history.

My teaching is centred around the unique creative intuition you possess, how it can be honed like a muscle and channeled in ways you hadn't considered before. Whether you are a total beginner who wants to start channeling their creativity, a student looking for help applying to art schools or with their assignments or an established practitioner with creative block- I can help, using the methods I learnt at the top rated art school in the world.
